Description
A quick but convenient model : this is a hook that hold the toolhead front cover when you need to replace the hotend for exemple.
It snaps into the X axis rods to stay in place and allow you to securely hold the front cover like a third hand.
This way you will not damage the ribbon cable or the connector of the fan.
Print it in bright color to not forget it inside the printer!
13/11/2025 update : some improvements have been made to this model!
- A small edge radius have been added to ease the toolhead insertion :
- There is also a new print profile to add compatibility with Ikea Skadis panels : you can now store your hook directly on the panel without any additionnal part, alone or with the toolhead still attached!
12/02/2026 update : as requested by some, a model with integrated spacer has been added, it helps to put the hook at the perfect location before removing the toolhead. The standard version is now also available without logo.
