Description

Slinding Pill Box

Default model has 7 spaces, one for each days, The storage has a locking mechanism that lock the box from open or sliding off the enclosure.

There is multiple designs for the outer and inner parts of the box (the storage inner part has 3 lenguage: EN, IT, DE), the enclosure can have different patterns, in 2D and in 3D, with AMS and without AMS.

Model

The model is parametric and can be fully modified and customized as you want in dimensions, patterns, shape, colors and functionality. If you create something upload it as a Remix.

For me, it is the best pill dispenser. I only take a few tablets and for that, the size is ideal. I also printed one for my dearest wife

Nice print, feels good in the hand, good fit. Textured build plate makes the slide a bit "crunchy", but maybe it also holds it shut better.

Good clean print. Just the right amount of resistance to not slide open randomly, but still easy to open.

Decent design, a couple things I would change with print settings is have a prime tower so better pressurized the nozzle for cleaner dates, & also since the cover has a notch the pill holder itself doesn’t need a notch, having a notch on both makes it a bit difficult pull them apart, if the pill holder didn’t have a notch it would have a larger surface to pull out, also this may just be my settings but if you can avoid the brim, do so since it leaves a unslightly first layer at the bottom.

thank you! yeah i know, this was one of my first parametric models and one of the first multicolored prints. i added the brim because i had only a coolplate. Thanks for the feedback i will edit those slicing parameters.

Very cute design. Super compact. But unfortunately, for me, the snap mechanism does not work well enough. Printed multiple times and the snapping male feature is too flimsy and either does not hold the insert or breaks down. Without it, the pill case is not very useful.

The cover prints vertically so the imprinted pill design cover creates a lot of poop waste. I printed the plain cover on repeated prints. Opens/slides well and is snug enough to prevent accidental opening. Wanted something small (no wasted space) but organized for backpacking for three people. Each section has just enough space for two small tablets, or one capsule, or one larger caplet. Wanted one for each person and sectioms for separate days to prevent “did I already take/give meds today?”.

I’ve used the A1 Mini with PLA Plus filaments, and it turned out great! Since it doesn’t have corners to hide the seams, I set the seam to random. For this specific case, I don’t mind having “nano dots” all over the surface.
