Tiny Spooky Shrine with Gargoyle and Potions
Print Profile(1)

Description
I designed this little shrine in Blender to look like old concrete. I painted mine with grey and green acrylic paint and mixed a little bit of cornstarch or baking soda works great too and then I painted it with a sponge to give it that concrete texture! In the middle is a gravestone, and a tiny gargoyle is perched on top, keeping watch. Around it are small skulls, potion bottles, and little candles. I wanted it to feel a bit spooky but also kind of magical, like a tiny secret corner of a gothic world.
Even though it’s small, I added lots of details. The gravestone has cracks and uneven textures, the gargoyle has little wings and claws, and the skulls and potions are all different shapes so it feels more alive. The candles are just candles, no lights, but they make the scene feel cozy and mysterious.
Everything is fully 3D-printable with no extra parts (LED lights are optional). The gravestone, gargoyle, skulls, potions, and candles are separate pieces, so you can arrange them however you like. I moved things around a few times until it felt just right.
🛠️ Printing Notes
- Make sure your filament is dry and your build plate is clean.
- Print with a smaller layer height to catch all the tiny details.
- Take your time with delicate parts like the gargoyle wings and potion tops the candle holder parts tend to break easily so just take some extra time to remove the supports on those .
- You can paint or weather the pieces if you want to make it look more like real concrete.
- The pieces are modular, so feel free to rearrange skulls and potions to your liking.
❓ FAQ (Or at least what I think people will ask because this model is pretty new tehe!)
Q: Can I print this with PLA?
A: Yes! PLA works well and is easy to print. If you want sharper details or more durable pieces, PETG or resin works too.
Q: Do the candles have lights?
A: Nope, they’re just cute little candles for atmosphere.
Q: How long did it take to design?
A: About a day! I spent time making sure the tiny details felt alive and arranging the pieces so the shrine tells a little story.
Q: Can I scale it?
A: Yes, but keep in mind really tiny pieces might lose some detail.
This tiny shrine is meant to be a little magical corner that feels bigger than it is. I love how it looks cozy and spooky at the same time, and it’s perfect for a shelf, a desk, or as part of a bigger diorama.
And here's a GIF clip I made of it! (Sorry, it's a little blurry because I couldn't figure out how to make it clear.)
