Description
Magnetic Levitation Golf Ball with logo
After hours of messing around i have finally nailed a floating golf ball with LIV logo (second print oprofile has other ball brands)
very easy to print, very easy to put together, great gift for any golf crazy person out there.
this uses the Bambu Labs Mag Lev kit. you only need to keep the induction ring, the rest can be thrown away
the pics included show how it all goes together.
the magnet holder section is tight, make sure you break the seal between the tabs before you insert it into the ball.
the best way to get it in is to place the prebuilt magnet section on the floor and push the ball down directly onto it
The green can be printed with AMS, if you don't have AMS you can flatten it to a single colour or print the other plate that contains both the lid and case for mag housing.
the blue base lid saves an AMS swap as the green needs 4 colours. just glue the green onto the blue lid when its all done
Don't forget to glue the feet onto the bottom of the base, this helps keep the unit cool
balance and patience is key to getting this to float, i find it best coming slowly from directly above. you'll feel it lock into place and hold, you can then slowly let go and voila, floating golf ball
2 versions of the ball exist as well, one solid white the other with a black LIV logo on the top
