🪷 Buddha under the Bodhi Tree — Pairi Daiza (3D version)

This 3D model is a faithful digital recreation of a statue located in Pairi Daiza, the renowned Belgian park that celebrates harmony between nature, culture, and spirituality.
It was created from four original photos, carefully edited to remove the background, then processed through a generative AI trained to produce STL models.
The result is a detailed and printable 3D reconstruction, paying homage to the serenity and elegance of the original artwork.

🌳 Spiritual meaning

The statue represents the Buddha under the Bodhi Tree, the sacred moment when Siddhartha Gautama attained Enlightenment after long hours of meditation.
The tree-like rock that seems to shelter or merge with the Buddha symbolizes the union between wisdom, nature, and inner peace.
Unlike the famous scene of Mucalinda Buddha (protected by the naga serpent), this depiction shows the stone and roots themselves as the natural refuge of the Buddha — illustrating oneness between man, nature, and spirit.

🪨 About the original statues in Pairi Daiza

These statues can be found in one of Pairi Daiza’s Asian areas, peacefully standing near the water, surrounded by trees and foliage.
They embody meditation, protection, and the sacred bond with nature — core values of the park’s message of peace and balance.
Their weathered surfaces and moss-covered textures add a living dimension to their symbolism, as time and nature enhance their spiritual presence.
