Description

Replacement for the activated carbon filter supplied by Bambu Lab — Fits perfectly into the existing compartment.
Simply purchase a larger quantity of acid-free activated carbon granules (e.g. 4 mm) and refill the filter every 2–3 months, depending on your printing time.

This solution is not only simple, but also much more cost-effective in the long run.

Handling

The lid is easy to open and close, yet it remains securely shut even if the container tips over.
When closing it for the first time, it might feel a bit stiff — but this will ease after a few uses.

Material Recommendation

I printed the model in ASA; the corresponding print profile is included.

ABS, PC, and other technical filaments also work, of course.
PETG is also suitable if you rarely print with PC or similar materials.
I would not recommend PLA, as it may deform due to the new air circulation system.

Optional: Filling Funnel

An optional filling funnel can be printed — it makes refilling the activated carbon much easier.
The funnel should not be printed in ASA, as the contact surface is too small.
Since it is only used for filling and not left inside the printer, I printed mine in PLA.
