Description

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Oversized Pendant and Chain

This pendant has 5 colours.

It's textured with an inset Bucs pattern for extra flair.

The pendant has a “female” opening at the top for the chain to lock into.

There are chain options…

The standard chain links…  1 plate full is the perfect amount for a full necklace, but I added 2 plates in case you want to make the links mixed colours.

If choosing the standard chain links, print the connector for the chain links with the “male” insert on plate 3.  This is for locking into the “female” opening at the top of the pendant.

There are 2 variations for the Cuban Chains.

  • A solid ring that is 70cm with the “male” insert attached.
  • An open spiral that is 85cm with the “male” insert attached.  This version also has a smaller “male/female” locking connector at the ends of the chain.  NOTE:  There is a small flat support under the “male” connector at the chain end.  This is just for printing support and snaps off.

These connectors are designed to be permeant.  They need a good hard shove to snap in place.  Once they're connected they won't come out.  So be sure that the chain is straight before connecting the ends.

This is pendant is part of a series that I plan on making.  All NFL teams with a unique pattern specific to the team (wings for Eagles, zubaz for Bills, 12th man for Seahawks, etc).  Be sure to stay tuned and check them out as I release them!

Thanks for the support!

Any idea why I get this white area in the background on the left side?

It's because you messed with the colours. I assume you used the paint tool instead of changing colours in the object section. As you can see from mine, the logo has 2 levels of black with the grey, white, and brown stacked on top of them. The red background is even. Yours has the white and black reversed. The red on yours had black bleed through in all areas except for the 1 spot behind the sword on the left.

Makes sense. I’m still learning so I appreciate the response. Lesson of the day, change colors in object section and not use paint tool. I will study how to do that.

You can use the paint tool. Just give it a good inspection after you slice it and ensure no parts were missed. Also you want to set the paint penetration to go deep. Usually I'd set it to 8-10 layers deep if I was painting a light colour on top of black to ensure no bleed through. You can find that in the strength section. The objects section is in the screenshot

turned out great. The only settings I changed were .16 layer height and ironed top surfaces.

looks great! I never iron my prints. I ruined a perfectly good print once and never trusted it again. switching from. 0.2 to 0.16 only increased your print time and used a bit for PLA. since it's all layered flat surfaces the finer layer height wouldn't have improved the definition at all. it would have just been finer layer lines on the side.

there are multiple build plates. you'll see them if you look on Bambu Studio. I don't think Bambu Handy will let you print anything except the first plate.
