PLAFuse Tip – Friction Welding Head for 3D Prints
Print Profile(1)

Description
The PLAFuse Tip is a custom friction-welding attachment for mini rotary tools (Dremel, Proxxon, Parkside, etc.) designed to melt and fuse PLA parts together using pure frictional heat.
Operating between 15,000–20,000 RPM, the tip spins rapidly and—when gently pressed against PLA surfaces—creates localized melting that bonds printed parts seamlessly and permanently.
No glue, no mess — just plastic fused with plastic.
It’s ideal for fixing broken 3D prints, sealing seams, or joining large models printed in separate pieces.
How it works:
- Mount the PLAFuse Tip onto your rotary tool 9x9mm
- Set rotation speed between 15k–20k RPM.
- Lightly press the spinning tip against the joint until the material softens.
- Hold the parts together until cooled — the bond becomes solid and durable.
Recommended materials: PLA
Printed in: PLA
Tip shapes available: Flat, conical, and rounded for different welding styles.
⚙️ Perfect for makers who want strong, clean joins without adhesives — pure thermal fusion through speed and precision.
