Description
This is a drivers side (left side) axle seal tool to tap a new seal into the front differential straight.
Fits a 3/8 extension if you want, but space is pretty tight there so I used a small hammer to help tap the seal in
This print is for 2014-2024 4Runner drivers side axle seal (Part number - 90311-47027).
Just had to replace my leaky seal on my 5th gen 4Runner, this tool made installing the new seal really easy.
- Lightly oil cover your seal with diff fluid
- Place axle seal into the tool, make sure it's facing the right way
- Center the tool & seal on the differential, SLOWLY & CAREFULLY tap in the center making sure the seal is set straight.
Go slow, you DO NOT want to push it in too far, pulling the seal out again will most likely damage your brand new axle seal
