Description
For a long time I was looking for a suitable drip tray for my purpose, but I couldn't find one
So I decided to design and print a drip tray
The tray has outer dimensions of 200 × 200 mm, or 210 × 200 mm with an outlet
The bottom part is printed from PETG and has a 3° slope towards the outlet so that the water drains cleanly
It was printed with a layer height of 0.16 mm, which ensures a smoother surface and improves water drainage despite the layers
The grid has a larger opening in the middle to make it easier to grasp and remove
The hexagon structure is provided with a 0.8 × 1.5 mm chamfer, which prevents water from standing on the grid
And why hexagons?
It's simple: Hexagons are stable, efficient – and just look cool
