St. Francis of Assisi – 3D Printable Statue

In celebration of the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi, I wanted to create and share a model that makes it easy for anyone to 3D print a small statue of this beloved saint.

This model is based on a 3D scan from the public domain online collection of SMK Open. The figurine stands approximately 15 cm tall and has been divided into two parts to reduce the need for supports, minimize material waste and shorten print time.

After printing, simply remove the supports and use a few drops of glue to assemble the two parts.

The result is a compact, elegant model that celebrates the legacy of St. Francis in a practical and accessible way.
