When the last candle flickers out, Xolotlín steps from the mist — half fairy, half spirit dog, his eyes glowing with quiet compassion. His paws leave traces of light on the path between worlds, showing the way to those who wander in shadow. Around his neck hangs a small lantern that never dies; its flame is kindled by love remembered.
