Description
The project originated from the need to create a simple irrigation system capable of adapting to any type of soil. The idea is a cone that screws onto a normal bottle and, once inserted into the ground, allows for precise and constant regulation of water release. Only the bottle remains visible outside, while the cone stays almost completely submerged in the earth.
The true peculiarity of this system is its ability to self-regulate. Unlike classic drip systems, which release water at a constant rate regardless of soil characteristics, this cone utilizes the natural resistance of the soil to adjust the outflow speed. In more compact soil, the release will be slower, while in sandy or lighter soil, the water will flow out faster.
The system also features manual internal adjustment, allowing the user to directly manage the water flow. By simply rotating the control ring, it is possible to increase or decrease the flow rate, precisely determining how long the system should release water: from a few hours to several days. This dual regulation – natural and manual – makes the device extremely versatile and adaptable to any type of plant and soil.
