I tried this print on 2 different printers with different filaments and both were stuck and broke when separating the part.

Awesome idea and love using it. We wanted compactable drying stuff and it works perfect. Only thing i might change is extended legs in the back. If you put dishes like normal back to front then the whole thing tips. So usually i throw one plate in the front then go back to front.

I was thinking about that, but I wanted as many dishes as possible to fit on the drying rack, and unfortunately, the printer's build area limits us.

@TQ3DPL For sure. At least on the X and the P series you do still have plenty of room to grow the back end. Easily an inch or so since its on diagonal. I'm only skilled in solidworks so modifying the stl to stretch just the noted I can't do.

I printed using PETG for my daughter so she can have something durable to place her dishes to dry. The design printed for the most part okay, I just have not been able to unfold it.

Did you let the model cool down before opening it? If so, try adjusting your filament settings. The first opening can be difficult, but try to do it gently by carefully pulling both sides apart at the same time.

Hi there! To ensure the model is fully functional, please follow all the instructions provided in the description. If you're still having issues, check the following: Filament: Must be dry. Nozzle: Ensure it isn't worn out. Calibration: The printer must be properly calibrated. Stability: Place the printer on a stable surface to eliminate unwanted vibrations or movement. Profile: Use the correct print profile for your specific filament. For those experiencing breakages, I'll be releasing a reinforced version with higher infill. I'm also going to tweak the hinge clearance; however, please note that it might lose that satisfying resistance when opening and closing.
