  • 2.5mm solid brass rod x 1:

Description

A fitted 3d printed case with latch for the Gagemaker PD-3004 pit depth gauge, printed in PETG. Not pictured in the real life photos( they were of an earlier version) is the multi coloured print, I also added a space for tips to be stored with holes for the tips to fit in. Some fitting may also be required to get the latch to close properly but once fit and with repeated use it becomes much easier and smoother to lock and unlock.

For the hinges and latch you will need some 2.5mm solid brass rod that will need to be cut to length then inserted, the holes in the hinges will most likely need to be drilled with either a 2.5mm drill bit or what I found also worked quite well was a length of 2.5mm rod with the sharp cut end that you get after using cutting pliers and using that as a makeshift drill.
