Description

Some of you may know my Kitchen Roll Holder Design here: https://makerworld.com/de/models/955266-kitchen-roll-holder-paper-towel-holder-kitchen-rol#profileId-1051276

There were so many requests for a bigger Version, since my orignal Model is made for Kitchen Rolls common in Germany - they are smaller then for example the US Rolls.

You like it Slim? And you need no screw holes? Then maybe my completly new SLIM Holder is interesting for you. You find the Design here:

https://makerworld.com/de/models/1903576-kitchen-roll-holder-slim-paper-towel-kitchen-roll#profileId-2040455

So I decided to make a Version for Big size rolls - but this was not only done with scaling the model up. It needs to be Stronger for the added weight of the bigger rolls, also it doesnt fit on the Print Beds of P1S or A1 - so I made two Versions:

  1. A Version for H2 Series Printers in One piece
  2. A Version for A1/P1/X1 Print bed size in two parts

You find both in the Print Profiles

Thank you very much!

The Design

Thanks to the curves, the holder fits very well into the kitchen and is suitable for both very modern and classic kitchens.

The curves allow the roll to be unrolled very cleanly and without bouncing.

The holder has also been designed to be very slender in order to waste as little filament as possible, but still be sufficiently stable.

I recommend printing in PETG for optimum stability

The screw holes are positioned in such a way that the screws are easily accessible with normal screwdrivers but are not too conspicuous.

The main goal was, to make the assembly as easy as possible. So I created a press fit connector. You can add some glue if you want, but it is not necessary!

Important Notes:

Please note: Since the connection is made to be strong (press fit) there are small tolerances it is not a bug if you need a little bit of force to connect the two parts!

Since I don`t have these Big Sizes Rolls, I couldn't test it live with a roll. It should fit 17cm Rolls, so this should be enough for the biggest rolls I know. If it is not enough please contact me and don't give a bad Rating!
