Description

Version 3 is here! Now features designs that hold one to five build plates and includes all improvements from community feedback from prior versions.

This stand attaches to either the LEFT or RIGHT side of a P1 or X1 series printer

This low-profile stand attaches snuggly to the side your printer using two lugs (No hardware required) and holds build plates vertically into chamfered slots. I put a lot of effort into making sure the attachment to the printer is secure and the plates are easy to insert and remove. Hope you enjoy!

Just what I needed. Added about 9.5mm to the bottom to fit nice and snug to my X1C with anti vibration feet. This allows me to keep a secondary working plate handy while I store the others under the table. Thanks for the nice print!

How did you do this? I've got the same issue and need to adjust for the 3 plate holder.

@kazoomba - originally I wanted to add the file as a remix, because I assume there were other users like me, but it’s not allowed for this print. What I did was quick and a little hacky - I downloaded the stl file, imported to fusion, sliced the bottom of the plate and added the height I needed. I then added it back to the original plate, re-meshed, exported to Bambu, sliced and printed. I’ve since printed two more with great results. good luck!

Haven't worked with fusion yet, I'll give it a shot, thanks!

Excellent print, very minimalist and smooth design. Also took half the time of other designs. The lugs create such a nice snug fitment and prevent from sliding or tipping over. Plates get stacked in a way that are easy to grab and do not touch one another.

Looked different holder, found your new version. Printed it for 3 plate and thought about protection from top, so mirrored cut the base holder and results in... really awesome plate holder 🤘🏻

Printed in PETG on my p1s. The plate holder prints well and has a good fit to the p1s undrside. My original BL build plates and 3rd party plates al fit wel into the holder and are easy to select and store (I printed the v3 version for five build plates)

I was worried that the plates would vibrate during printing and hit the side panel of the printer mounted on damping feet but that is not the case at all The plates are stable in this holder which is itself elevated with the printer's original feet to compensate for the height difference and keep the holder's notches engaged under the printer This holder is discreet aesthetic and functional :)

Great model! Very easy to print, and holds my P1s plates perfectly. Unfortunately, I forgot to account for the fact that I have replaced the standard feet with the VoxelPLA HULA damper feet, which add additional height. I'm still using it, just a bit more carefully because it can slide in and out. Is there any chance you could design a riser system, or maybe a new profile that would re-engage the tab system so that the holder doesn't slide in and out?
