This is an M381 grenade replica, scaled to fit a 40mm airsoft grenade launcher.
It is subtly modified, but you can adjust the real dimensions directly in Bambu Studio.
The original grenade was widely used in the Vietnam War with launchers like the M79, XM148, M203, and China Lake.
The projectile is removable and the replica is hollow, making it a perfect storage container for BBs or other small gear. The projectile has a groove for an O-ring, but it holds very well and is easy to remove even without one. It has always been waterproof so far.
