Description

Collection Tip: Bambu Lab A2L: A2Lineage Design Journey

The A2Lineage Design Journey combines proven designs with new developments created specifically for the A2L platform.

Existing models only become part of this collection after verification on the actual machine. Compatibility is never assumed and every model must earn its place through testing and real world use.

New designs will join the collection as the platform evolves, while established favorites transition only when they truly meet my standards.

My X2D is running almost nonstop and doesn’t get a break. But one day I might store it for a while, and then this neat dust cover for the touchscreen will come in handy.

Designed as part of my ongoing collection of practical Bambu Lab upgrades. Each model is conceived, printed, and endurance-tested on my own machines, refined through dozens of iterations to match the printer’s true mechanical behavior.

Precision isn't assumed here, it’s verified layer by layer.

Follow me if you like my work, that kind of appreciation really dries my filament. Likes and boosts feed the Maker World algorithm and keep the new models coming

Until that day, I simply flip it over and use it as a small cup for screws and parts while working on the printer. Keeps everything tidy and no screw ever goes missing again.

Part #03 in my P2Series Design Journey.

Beautiful project, I printed it without the logo because I want to customize it with my name A small constructive criticism: I gave this project the highest rating to reward the design work done, but the cover should be revised because there's too much play when you fit it onto the display Nevertheless, I thank the author for sharing 😊

Thank you for your review. I deliberately left a little bit of slack, as it is not meant to stay in place forever, but only to cover the display during storage. Should I upload another print profile with tighter tolerances?

Thank you for your response and availability You are indeed right that the cover shouldn't remain on the display for long, but I would have preferred a slightly tighter fit 😊

Tight tolerances are always a bit tricky because the calibration of the printer and filament comes into play if you want a really snug fit. What fits perfectly for me might not fit on the display for the next person. Since we're only talking about 0.3 mm or so, you could simply scale the model. However, I would only do it on the x and y axes, otherwise the layer heights won't match anymore.

Hello and thank you for sharing! Is it possible to make it customizable to add one's name or nickname on the cover
