The Blizzard Coal Co. Tin – Santa Approved Gift Set

Bring a bit of North Pole humor to your holiday season with The Blizzard Coal Co. Tin! This festive 3D-printed set includes a detailed “coal” tin with embossed text and a batch of realistic, faceted coal pieces—perfect for adding a fun twist to Christmas gifting.

The lid features a crisp, multi-color print reading “North Pole Express – Blizzard Coal Co. – Santa Approved – Better Luck Next Year”, giving it that classic North Pole factory feel. Each coal piece is 3D printed to look like a shiny chunk of Santa’s finest “naughty list” reward.

Whether you’re looking for a playful stocking stuffer, a holiday decoration, or a creative gift idea, this set is sure to get a laugh (and maybe a reminder to behave next year).

Features:

  • Fully 3D printed tin with snug-fitting lid
  • Embossed multi-color design for a professional finish
  • Includes 3D printed “coal” pieces
  • Fun novelty holiday gift or decor piece

Printed by Blizzard Coal Co. – North Pole Express Certified!

no problems printing P1S with PLA AMS PRO doing it like the file on three different plates definitely save time instead of combining them all on one plate. am happy with the file

This would have to be one of the best things I've printed with small text. Thank you so much for sharing. Now to pull this off with a straight face Christmas morning...

You are so kind and thank you. With a .4 nozzle it is kinda hard to get small text to come out decent. Wish I could pull something off with these on Christmas with my kids but they test almost everything I design and publish. This being one of them. Thanks again for the rating, comments, and finished picture. Love it!

Lol I love Christmas/spending money so I don't think I will be able to pull it off. You said almost anything.... You might need to design something in secret! Thanks again, I love this, Merry Christmas to you and your family!

What settings did you use? I've printed the lids over and over again but the text comes out blurry every time no matter the changes I make.

I printed 4 of these at once and the red bleeds a bit making the text look blurry, is it normal for the white to go down first then the red or should the red have gone down first? I’ve printed other items where red goes down and then the white and it looks clean.

I see that does look blurry. From my experience this is caused by the Elephant foot compensation setting under the Quality tab. That or try doing a full calibration. If you used the provided 3mf settings from the download you should have no issues with this if your printer is working in optimal order. To answer the color order. I never print darker colors first for anything that prints like this face down and all first layer color swapping. I learned a long time ago that printing lighter colors first is always best practice. I hope all of this helps one way shape or form for you! Good luck and let me know what you find out that works best for your printer. (every printer is unique in its own way, even if we are using the same make and model)

I did a full calibration with no luck and then hit reset on the elephant foot compensation and that had no effect. I then printed it straight from Bambu Handy rather than Studio and it still looks blurry.

I am not sure what to say now. As you can see from comments and posted pictures no one that I know of has had this issue. Maybe the filament it’s self?

This is awesome! Printed without a hitch. Lid could be just a touch more firmly attached, but that may be my filament or printer. Can't wait to see the looks on their faces :D :D :D!

Fantastic. Love how you printed more coal as well. Some People have said that and others say it is just fine. If you print the lid .5% or 1% smaller you should be good. Nice thing is that the lid is a quick print.
