DJI Osmo Nano - Vertical magnetic grip - mount.

The DJI Osmo Nano is a beautiful little action cam, but it has a big flaw. There is no way to position it vertically to create videos for social media.

Surfing the net I found versions with GoPro hooks, but I wanted something more modern and more DJI compatible.

This is why I created this TPU cover with standard DJI quick coupling printed in PLA and which is already very resistant.

MATERIALS:

You will need:

5 M2x5 screws

5 inserts nut M2 OD 3.5mm (https://a.aliexpress.com/_EG5fBuY)

4 magnets 5mm x 3mm or 8 magnets 5mm x 1.5mm

ASSEMBLY:

The Osmo Nano has different magnets compared to the Action this is because the Osmo Nano has a different magnetic alignment .

Test the polarization directly on the mount you have before inserting the magnets. I leave you a diagram below.

IMPORTANT:

The TPU cover might seem difficult to insert. It just takes a little practice to understand how to insert it. Once inserted, it will adhere perfectly without leaving a minimum of play to avoid vibrations.

The mount below, the first few times it might not seem to enter. You have to strain it slightly. After a couple of times it will be perfect. Because I noticed that some non-original mounts have more play than the original ones and I didn't want that to happen. Once "get used to", it will immediately attaches to any mount you have.
