Description

Small bass reflex port — "more full bass, compact" Goal: slightly more energy at low frequencies without excessive cabinet size. Volume (internal): 1.5 L (1500 cm³) Driver tuning (Fb): ~90 Hz (safe, close to the driver's Fs) Port: round, diameter 24 mm, port length ≈ 91 mm (calculated with correction of one end in the front panel). If using a rectangular port instead of a tube, maintain the same flow area (S) and equivalent length. Sample internal dimensions: 150 mm × 100 mm × 100 mm = 1500 cm³ Damping: moderate (fiber ballast) to avoid damping the port tuning. Result: more "initial" bass than in a sealed enclosure; below ~75 Hz it drops quickly.

And a hole for the tweeter. The tweeter comes from an old iMac computer that was going to be thrown away.

I'd like to present a speaker based on TangBang W3-2141 drivers. The bass won't be amazing, but for such a small driver, the sound detail surprised me.
