Description
A friend asked me to design and print a replacement bracket for the sunroof cable on his VW Mk2 Golf GTI. The original plastic parts are a common failure point, causing the sunroof to jam.
This is a direct replacement bracket set (Left & Right) to get the sunroof sliding smoothly again.
Print Strong! This is a functional car part under stress. You must use a strong material like:
- ABS, ASA, or PETG
- For best results: PLA-Carbon Fiber, PETG-Carbon Fiber, or Nylon
Print at 100% infill for maximum strength.
Compatible with: VW Mk2 Golf, Jetta, GTI, and GLI.
