There are gaps between the inner and outer pots to ensure breathability If you need the self-watering function, please purchase a 3mm to 5mm absorbent cotton rope, which is available on major e-commerce platforms, please choose it yourself, then thread the self-watering cotton through the large round hole and let it touch the bottom surface If you don't need this feature, the design of the inner and outer pots can also greatly enhance breathability, allowing the outer pot to catch excess watering while maintaining a minimalist style

The current design has actually gone through at least three iterations, balancing multiple factors such as material saving, strength, and print quality Although there are no visible ventilation holes from the outside, I have designed gaps between the inner and outer pots to facilitate air circulation As long as your growing medium (soil) is breathable and loose, this design will provide good breathability and water permeability for the plant roots in all directions, reducing the risk of root rot

In fact, I also considered a more material-saving approach by designing the outer pot as a lower structure for the water tray, but this would lead to a problem: when moving it, you would have to support the bottom tray by hand If you water too much, water could easily leak from the bottom tray While the large outer pot design uses slightly more waste material, it keeps the outer pot very clean, resembling a simple ordinary flower pot, yet it incorporates a considerable amount of convenience

In summary, this pot set is designed for my own tropical plants (and is equally suitable for non-tropical plants) I don't like the various pots on the market, and it's hard to find a pot that simultaneously meets conditions like simplicity, breathability, self-watering, easy mobility, convenient removal of the inner pot for watering, and keeping hands clean—all at once So this set was born Based on this concept, I have also made several extra-large pots, round pots, and corner pots, which will be released later Please follow me to get release notifications as soon as possible
