Description

This is a larger adult-sized version of my other child-sized Hollow Knight mask.  It is 122% of the original, so 22 percent larger. You can see the difference in the pictures.  Still, though, when you put this on, you have to turn it sideways to put it on, and then once it is on your head, you turn it to the front.

However, all that being said, this is a MUCH harder project than the other mask as it required that I split the main mask down the middle between the eyes and between the horns to fit on the bed.  Those connections have NO locator dowels, so it must be aligned and glued by feel.  Still not too bad, but please be warned.  I will be posting the make video for this version shortly.  Also, the top of this mask did not fit very well and seemed to be larger than it should be, so perhaps you may want to reduce the two top pieces of the head by just a bit (1%) to compensate.  I ended up having to leave a gap in the back, which I filled with my 3d printer pen. In order to make everything look nice, I used a lot of Bondo red glazing putty, high-build primer, and so much sanding.  If you have an H2D, use the alternative version of this mask linked above and scale it up to fit the bed.

Sizing:  This should fit anyone.  The opening is 8 inches from front to back and 8.75 inches from side to side.

I used a “Nylon Mesh bag" for the eyes.  I also added some foam to lift it off my shoulders and give it some padding.  I will also eventually add some straps to keep it on my son's head, as he plans to use this for Halloween.  Painted with white semi-gloss Rustoleum spray paint, which, when compared to the white filament, looks sort of gray.

Revised 10-17-25: Plate 6 and 7 were not scaled correctly in the previous version.  This version sets the scale on both top halves of the head to 100%.  Both halves of the face and both horns should be at 122%.
