Description
Although the first generation was a success, it still left room for improvement. In this generation, I set out to make it sleeker, cleaner, more practical, and stronger with an added extra-wide version for heavy-duty applications.
The model has an updated design with cleaner fillets and an elongated body.
Gen. 2 is also printed at a 45-degree angle to minimize supports and align the layers for the strongest adhesion.
The design has also been optimized for more efficient loading into smaller water bottle openings. I also included an extra-wide version for optimal and easy transfer into coolers or larger containers.
Finally, I made the walls a more uniform size with layers running in a direction better suited for heavier loads of ice or to break ice chunks.
It can be printed out of materials such as PLA or PETG, but others may work too. The model is completely original to me and was designed in Fusion 360. Supports are necessary.
