Lens shade for Samyang SY85M-C 85mm F1.4 Fixed Lens - Astronomy / Astrophotography
Slip on lens shade.
The lights from my neighbors house were keeping me from using my 85mm lens for astrophotography with the standard lens shade that came with the lens. So, I designed this 6 inch slip on lens shade and it works great. It simply slips over the original lens shade.
It was printed with PLA-High Temp filament, just in case it is left outside in the heat.
So…for you city dwelling astronomers who happen to have this lens, this may be the answer to bright lights in your neighborhood.
