Description
Owners of a Lupine headlamp like a Blika or a Piko have one of the strongest and most reliable mobile lights on the market despite the very good Frontclick quick-release plate there is no satisfactory solution to quickly and easily attach the lamp head including battery to the bicycle
Here is the solution (provided you own a Garmin mount)
The Garmin2Lupine Light System Mount
The Garmin2Lupine mount allows for compact mounting of a Garmin lamp head with a Frontclick plate and a 3.5 Ah battery with Fastclick directly in one unit on a Garmin mounting arm The light unit is mounted at the lower mounting point of the arm and is thus compactly stowed
The print is designed to be as simple as possible a support structure is needed in one place I currently use parts made of PLA and ASA both have already been in use for several hours
Assembly is very simple you only need 2 M3 nuts in addition to the Garmin adapter to attach the Garmin mount The outer diameter of the adapter must not exceed 34mm Make sure that the screws do not protrude beyond the nuts If this is the case you will need shorter screws to prevent damage to the battery
The battery / lamp cable can be routed around a line when connecting and thus protects the lamp from loss
