Description

Just a fun little keyring with room inside for an NFC tag. Great gift for a DJ or music producer. You can print it with or without the hole (just enable support to print without the hole). The colour versions seem to be the most popular. The black and white vinyl looks a bit dull in reality, though I did add a couple of extra layers to try and brighten the label up a bit - you could also use MATTE PLA for the label which gives a much better white.

PLA seems to print really well. I have been trying to print it in PETG too - but it will take some more tweaking until I get there as the quality is just not the same. 3D printers work well with this provided you use concentric circles - you get that Vinyl vibe when you do.

I bought some NFC 215 chips from Amazon as well as the keyrings - in total I think it cost just 25 pence to make this.

I designed this from scratch as I could not find one on here that I liked. Most of this I created in Bambu Labs, but for some reason boolean subtract was buggy so I switched to blender to make the space for the NFC chip.

Note: print the keyring hole the same colour as the main vinyl cylinder, unless you want to remove it and drill a small hole - if you print it in another material it will pull off easily.
