Description
Perfect 1:1 scale replica of the British WWI No36 grenade launcher for Lee Enfield No 1 MkIII (SMLE).
It's only a prop, designed for reenactment and hobbyist use only. Should never be used with true firearm.
Design based on actual instructions and photos of many existing original launchers. Works in the same way as the original piece. Perfectly fits SMLE replica made by Denix. Depending on accuracy it should be compatible with other Enfield replicas.
No36 grenade replica from BLACKSWANPRINTS fits snugly in launcher's barrel. Highly recommended.
Assembling:
- Arms should be attached to the base by inserting two pin_2 (longer one). No glue needed. Arm should move freely.
- Using two pin_1 (small one) attach support plate in the interior of the barrel. Glue is optional, pins should fit tightly enough to secure support plate on their own. Make sure the longer side of the plate will be on the side of the barrel window cover.
- Push the screw thru the plate cover and put it inside the barrel.
- Place washer on the screw and then the nut.
- While tightening the screw make sure washer does not rotate. Adjust tightening of the screw to change cover's position.
Pins and screw were designed to fit tightly. 3D printed screw thread may not work smoothly, depending on your printer type, filament and individual setting. I suggest first printing screw and nut to check the fit, and to adjust printing settings if needed.
