The Jumping Spider Tree is a detailed decorative element for terrariums, specifically designed for smaller spider species like jumping spiders (Salticidae).

It consists of a naturally modeled tree trunk with a fine bark structure and branched limbs that resemble an old, gnarled tree.

In the upper part, there is a small treehouse that serves as a retreat and resting place for the spider. The house has a slightly sloped roof, an open front opening, and an additional small hole on the side, specifically designed to attach a climbing rope or string. This allows the spider to explore the tree via various routes or reach feeder insects.

Another mounting hole is recessed into the underside of the tree trunk. This serves to fix the tree, if necessary, to a base plate or a pedestal to ensure additional stability – especially practical in larger terrariums or during frequent cleaning.

Overall, the tree combines functionality and aesthetics:
• Secure retreat in the treehouse
• Natural look for realistic habitat design
• Expandable with climbing rope
• Stable and flexibly positionable thanks to the bottom hole

It is therefore ideally suited to provide jumping spiders with a varied, species-appropriate, and decorative environment.

beautiful and intricate print! the supports almost look like part of the design, make sure you only remove what you’re supposed to and not branches. some of the end branches are delicate as well, and I broke a tip off of one, but it isn’t noticeable uless you’re really looking close. I printed in pla since I didn’t have petg in brown and wanted to test this out first, but be cautious if putting in with spiders, as the tree branch edges are rather sharp and could cause serious damage if a spood were to fall. I plan to reprint in petg and add moss to the top, and it will be perfect and safe then. this model is living in a terrarium of mine for now. can’t wait to reprint and add to my jumpers’s homes!
