The idea for these shoes was simple at first—
I wanted to create a pair of cool and powerful-looking shoes,
shoes that are like armor, both protecting the body and serving as a symbol.

I referenced the structure of medieval knight armor and also studied a lot of modern fashion design,
both of which use the language of 'protection' to express strength.
So I brought this concept into 3D printing, hoping it could bring a sense of power to daily life.

The entire shoe is divided into two main parts:
One part is the main body, which can be worn directly;
The other part is the ankle guard, secured with horizontal straps, providing both support and richer layering.

At the same time, because it connects to the main body via shoelaces, this part supports extensive personalization and accommodates various style expressions.

The final result looks more like a piece of equipment than I imagined—
It has a touch of futuristic feel, and also a hint of the old world.

This is what I wanted to create:
A pair of shoes with a story,
that makes one feel as if they're wearing 'everyday armor'.

The English name for these shoes is 'Armorborne - born to be a knight in this era', which means 'a knight by birth'. I really like this concept but couldn't come up with a suitable Chinese name.
