Description

Dust collector / vacuum adapter for the Makita RT0702 edge router.

The novel feature of this dust collector is, that it attaches in the right orientation (the cable of the router will follow the same direction as the vacuum hose) and the “one screw” mount. By using the original finger screw you can easily snap on the dust collector and mount it by hand in a few seconds. So it is very easy to remove the dust collector to reach tight corners. Plus, you can use the original base plate which has superior glide properties.

Very tight tolerances, in case it snaps not into place, check the little rails at the screw position and give them a little sanding.

The vacuum connector is for osVAC Neo M32. If you need other adapters let me know and I will look into it.

PETG is recommended

Finally, less dust and shavings in the workshop as everything is immediately extracted. I didn't think something like this existed, and then with the osVAC system, it's simply great. Thank you for this

Fantastic design! The object surface that slides into the side of the router where you put the screw didn't come out so great with my A1 mini and I had to use a file to sand it to fit. Still works though doing flush trimming or roundovers is sooooo much cleaner now. 🤩

hi I love the model but is there anyway that you could edit it so that there is no locking tabs on the collection port?

Printed great but the tolerances were too tight for my Makita RT0702CXJ2. Did not slot into the bracket where the screw goes and also the brim around the hole of the router would not go in. Broke both parts off and taped the thing to the router...dust collection was perfect after that though :) Since I haven't read anybody having the same issues I thing it might be an issue on my end. Just a heads up for anyone else, I was hoping it would fit the cordless version DT50Z but it doesn't. Printed fine
