Gaspurr – Blue Chibi Cat (3D Printable Figurine)

Description

Gaspurr is a stylized, chibi sitting cat with big round eyes and a surprised “O” mouth. Smooth, rounded volumes and thick features make it beginner-friendly and very printable. Perfect as a desk buddy, painting practice mini, or kid-safe decor piece.

Printability

  • Supports: Minimal; under-chin cavity, ear tips, and tail curl benefit from light tree supports.
  • Walls/Perimeters: 2–3 walls (≥1.2 mm); top/bottom 5–6 layers.
  • Layer height: FDM 0.16–0.20 mm (0.12 mm for best finish);
  • Infill: 12–18% (gyroid/cubic).
  • Materials: PLA (easy), PETG (tougher), or resin (best detail).

Dimensions & Scale

  • Designed at ~90 mm tall.
  • Safe range: 60–150 mm. For >120 mm FDM, use 3–4 walls and ~20% infill.

Cleanup & Post-Processing

  • Light seam/sprue cleanup under chin and tail.
  • FDM: quick sand + primer on cheeks/forehead for a toy-like matte finish.

Painting Guide (optional)

  • Primer: Gray or white.
  • Base color: Medium blue; eyes off-white with glossy black pupils for the signature “gasp.”
  • Finish: Satin or matte clear coat.

Notes

  • Chunky paws, ears, and tail are thickened for durability and kid handling.
  • No sharp edges; ideal as a desk mascot or gift.
