CoralVein is a 3D-printed concept shoe inspired by coral biomimetic structures, created to showcase the fusion between natural morphology and digital fabrication. The shoe adopts a parametric generative structure that simulates the organic growth logic of coral, resulting in a fluid and lightweight visual language. More than just an experiment in the coexistence of nature and technology, CoralVein embodies a poetic marine experience beneath your feet.
Design Inspiration
The design of this 3D-printed shoe draws inspiration from the growth patterns and skeletal framework of natural coral. Coral structures are characterized by porous and continuous networks that achieve both lightness and strength. Their unique forms emerge through self-organizing processes in nature, producing complex yet ordered organic geometries.

The design extracts coral’s logic of growth to express organic fluidity and structural symbiosis, translating these principles into the generative rules that shape the shoe’s surface.
Concept Philosophy
The shoe is both an extension of natural growth logic and a product of digital algorithmic evolution. The design uses coral’s self-healing and ecological balance as metaphors, merging organic morphology with parametric generation to convey a vision of sustainable “ecological regenerative aesthetics,” where technology returns to the natural order of growth.
Color & Visual Language
CoralVein adopts a soft gradient palette of coral pink, seafoam blue, and pale mint green, evoking the diversity and harmony of marine ecosystems. The overall tone is light and translucent, expressing a sense of breathing fluidity between nature and technology.

Sizing Guide
The table below lists foot length, width, and corresponding scaling ratios for European shoe sizes. For X/P/A-series printers (excluding A1 mini), the maximum printable size is EU 43.2 (foot length: 271.62 mm). If your foot width exceeds or falls below the standard width for your size, adjust the model’s width scaling individually after uniformly scaling it to match your foot length.
For Example: If your foot length is 264 mm (EU 42), scale the model to 97.67%. If your foot width measures 97 mm (above the standard 95.4 mm), adjust the width scaling to 97 ÷ 95.4 × 97.67% = 99.3%. Generally, uniform scaling based on size accommodates most foot shapes.

Recommended Filament & Printing Tips
Use Bambu Lab TPU 90A (Pink, Blue, Green) for optimal print quality and smooth performance, especially when printing with gradient filaments.

To achieve a seamless gradient effect, print both shoes together on the same build plate.
TPU 90A Tips: Preheat the filament and store it in a sealed dry box during printing to ensure consistent extrusion and prevent moisture absorption.
