Didn't Know I Needed It - Lowe 3104 Mitre Cutter Gridfinity Tray
I can't be the only one who sees a new tool on YouTube and thinks, “oooh I need that. How have I lived so long without that. It's made in Germany? Ohhh… Must have that.” This is a Gridfinity tray for “that”. It's a Mitre Cutter made by Lowe in Germany. Model 3104. Bought from Amazon. There are other cheaper versions available as well. What does it do? Well it cuts perfect miter angles in plastic, wood, etc.
I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for, but it looks nice in its Gridfinity tray until I do.
You know you need this unneccessary tool also. May as well print the Gridfinity tray to go with it….
The bottom gridfinity square on each tray has been reduced to 21mm which is 50% of the standard 42mm. These still fit perfectly in a standard gridfinity grid, but allows more placement options for the tray. Please ensure your build plate is clean and consider using glue to ensure proper adhesion to the build plate.
