Description

This holds the HOTO Electric Screwdriver, 3.6V Cordless Screwdriver Set and allows you to connect any USB-C cable you like as a charger.

The main body is made to mount to Multiboard Tiles using the beefier MultiConnect - Flush or Raised.

If you want it to be able to charge when you set it in the base, you can print out the cable charging base or make your own so that it's a tight to the plug end you want to use. Set the charging base into the bottom of the model and use some 1.75mm filament strands to lock it into place. I've included two different sized USB cable modules that I used, but I also made a parametric version so you can make your own here:

The USB holder should be made snug so that it takes effort to push into place. This tight friction keeps the charging cable from being dislodged when you plug the screwdriver in and out. I'm using Anker USB-C cables with a rubberized end, which works very well.

The bit holders may need some taps from a rubber mallet to get them all the way down in the front slots. This design allowed them to be printed flat while the rest is printed standing up and for people to replace them with their own bit holding design or leave them out completely as desired.

Print with supports - only a few are needed.

No doubt this is an overengineered-Frankenstein-monster. That was due to three completely separate reasons.

  1. I really wanted to make the storage for the screwdriver automatically charge it between uses.
  2. I really like the Screw Bitfinity and Label Bonnets from @SFYoung combinations. I'm using those for Gridfinity tool boxes and the labels help me remember what goes where at a glance.
  3. I wanted to try making a parametric model. :)

Find the Bitfinity and Label Bonnets that fit both here:
