NOBody - Jack's Contemplation

Get ready for the spooky season with a new, contemplative addition to the NOBody series: "NOBody - Jack's Contemplation". This unique Halloween sculpture features the signature NOBody figure in a thoughtful pose, its head replaced by a classic jack-o'-lantern that can be illuminated from within.

Design Concept:

Instead of a purely scary figure, "Jack's Contemplation" captures a more introspective side of the Halloween spirit. The figure sits in a familiar, weary pose, creating a piece that is both festive for the season and artistically engaging. The pumpkin head is designed in two pieces that lock together with a twist-snap mechanism, allowing you to easily access the inside to place a standard LED tea light for a warm, flickering glow.

• Unique Halloween-themed NOBody sculpture.
• Light-Up Jack-o'-Lantern Head: The pumpkin is hollow and closes with a secure twist-snap lid to fit an LED tea light inside.
• Expressive, Contemplative Pose: A unique take on Halloween décor.
• Multi-Part Print: Body and the two pumpkin halves print separately for ease and detail.

Required Hardware:

• LED Tea Light Candle (battery-operated, not included): A standard small LED candle fits inside the pumpkin.

Printing Recommendations:

This project consists of three main printable components: the Body, the Pumpkin Top, and the Pumpkin Bottom.

• NOBody Figure:
  • Material: PLA or PETG. A bone-white, grey, or black filament works well. The pictured model was printed using PLA NX2 from Extrudr.
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm.
  • Supports: Tree/organic supports are required for the best results under the chin and arms.
• Pumpkin (Top & Bottom pieces):
  • Material: Orange PLA or PETG is highly recommended. The pictured model was printed using PLA NX2 from Extrudr.
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm.
  • Supports:
    • Pumpkin Top: Supports are needed only for the eye and mouth openings. The stem is designed to print support-free.
    • Pumpkin Bottom: No supports needed.
  • Infill: 8% (or as specified in the .3mf profile).

Assembly:

1. Print all three components (Body, Pumpkin Top, Pumpkin Bottom).
2. Carefully remove all support material from the Body and the Pumpkin Top's facial features.
3. Place a battery-operated LED tea light inside the Pumpkin Bottom.
4. Close the jack-o'-lantern by placing the Pumpkin Top onto the Pumpkin Bottom and twisting it slightly to engage the secure snap-lock mechanism.
5. Rest the assembled pumpkin head on the neck of the NOBody figure.
