Description

Boost Me (for free)

Huge thanks for downloading my file! I put a lot of hours into dialing this one in so you get a flawless print. If you have a boost to spare, I would be incredibly grateful if you tossed it over here. Those little tokens are a massive deal for creators like me, and getting one is the ultimate high five for the hard work. Thanks for the support!

Customizable Parametric Letter & Name Text

There are other parametric 3D models out there but I wanted the ability to adjust a few more settings on the model that this didn't allow.

On my version (this is v1) I am allowing the name to stick out from the Base letter and you can choose to either print all the same color or change it at the top. I have a few plans to adjust this to allow multiple versions of the Base letter and the main name but with my schedule right now it's just going to be on hold.

While you can play with the adjustments here and it will print a good final product this generator is kind of still in the beta phase. I might adjust the code and the order of some of the items from time to time.

The idea is that you can create a huge letter based on your name.

Like my name is Joe so it will automatically create a large J then add my name on top of that J.

In the customize tab you can:

  • Move the name around (X,Y,Z)
  • Make the Base letter any size
  • Change the font of both the base letter and name plate
  • Add a bevel to the base letter
  • Print the base letter and the name plate together or separately.
  • Print the name plate on top or make it all one depth (mixed) ( I might need to explain this one with pictures).

If you have any questions or not sure how to use this feel free to shoot me a message. I can create screenshots and explain it so others can understand it as well.

When printing, if the base letter won't stand on it's own (like the letter J or O) just add a negative cube in your slicer to make that base flat.

Thanks again for downloading and checking out my model! I work hard to make sure these files print perfectly, but if you do run into any issues or need support, please reach out and I will gladly help you troubleshoot. If you love the model and want to support the time it takes to maintain these files, please consider dropping a boost before you go. It helps a ton and keeps the workshop running!
