Description

A magnetic holder for TINY Doodle Disc stencils.

The 3mf print profile includes a pause right before covering the holes in the holder. Be careful to put the magnets in the correct orientation!

For magnet orientation, you want the top of each printed piece to connect with the top of the other.

This model uses 6x2mm magnets, which can be found here. If you want, you can only put the magnets in the outer spots and use 8 total magnets instead of 15.

The printer pauses with open space for the magnets

Place the magnets and tell the printer to continue

When it is finished, the magnets are embedded in the holder

How come printing the dual-color file resulted in a stencil holder much smaller than the one included with the stencils

Thanks a lot of your project, I really appreciate it. I would like to suggest something, the little line to use as a reference, I see you make it go though 13 layers, which means it's drastically increase the quantity of colour switch, which result in a lot of waste and a much longer print, while actually, we really only need 2 or 3 layers. I wonder it you would be willing to apply this change, I could share it with you it needed. Thanks in advance for considering it!

I printed the whole thing in one color and then used a sharpie to mark where the line is. Saves a lot of time and filament!

makes it easier for the little one to use with only being a few numbers in these discs

Printed fine but could use one more layer on top of magnets. Left gaps on both of my prints even with optimal bridge settings on second print.
