Volvo XC90 AC Vent Louver No-Disassembly Repair Aid Clip

The AC vent louvers of the Volvo XC90 are prone to damage,

The fundamental reason is that the clips connecting the front and rear louvers are too thin,

And when adjusting, the louvers are inevitably pulled outwards,

Leading to fatigue breakage over time.

This louver has a split structure,

And once broken, it cannot be installed.

The conventional installation method involves removing the center console panel,

And then removing the entire vent for installation.

This is too troublesome.

So I designed this auxiliary tool,

First, with the aid of tweezers, position the inner louver into place,

Then separate the auxiliary tool,

Wrap it around the back of the inner louver from both the left and right sides respectively,

Assemble it into one piece inside the vent to hold the inner louver,

Then insert the outer louver to easily complete the installation.

After installation,

You can apply some 502 glue

between the front and rear louvers to secure it, and it will never fall off again later

(egro 5900 is recommended, it has appropriate viscosity and won't whiten)
