Bambu Spool for Polymaker Filament
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a modification of the Bambu Spool specifically designed for the Polymaker filament. I wasn't satisfied to print a regular Bambu spool and then the Polymaker expanders, so I combined the two into one 3D model so I can print them all in one. This provides adequate pressure to the spool so that it properly spins inside the AMS.
To use, print both plates. Then lay your Polymaker filament on the table and pry up the cardboard, spinning it after you release the cardboard from the center spool. Work your way all the way around and then gently rip off the outer cardboard of the spool. Clean up the excess left from the center spool. Using one of the printed spool sides, locate the small tab that fits into the slot in the spool - this must also fit into the slot in the spool, as it further ensures that the spool spins correctly in the AMS. Align the spool center and the tab then press down firmly, ensuring that it is all the way flush with the filament. Flip over the spool and perform the same action on the other side. Before firmly pressing down, make sure you are aligned with the locking groves and gently spin it while pressing down to get it to seat itself while also locking. Confirm everything is locked together and then place in the AMS.
I always print this with ABS, but I am sure other filaments will work. Be careful if you put this into a filament dryer if you use anything other than ABS or ASA.
