Headphone amplifiers typically appear as integrated circuits in electronic devices, music players, and televisions, but there are also standalone headphone amplifiers.

Core Functions
1. Amplify signal power: Compensate for insufficient output power from audio sources (e.g., mobile phones, CDs) (usually only 3-10mW), prevent waveform clipping distortion caused by the peak demands of high-dynamic music (e.g., symphonies) (up to 50 times average power), ensuring full vibration of the headphone diaphragm.
2. Compensate for system distortion: Correct headphone frequency response defects (e.g., mid-range dips) or human ear hearing differences through EQ adjustment (e.g., 31-band PEQ) to achieve overall fidelity.
Stylistic rendering: Tube amplifiers (tube machines) enhance the musical atmosphere with a warm and mellow tone, while transistor amplifiers (solid-state machines) restore details with high resolution, adapting to different music genres.
