This handy little part makes it easier to disconnect your Bambu Lab AMS 6-pin cable — no twisting, no pulling at awkward angles.
Just press it on, and it sits exactly where it’s supposed to. When you need to disconnect, a simple pull is all it takes.
💡 What It Does
The cover gives you a small, ergonomic grip point for the AMS 6-pin connector, so you can detach it quickly without tugging the cable or hunting for leverage, and keeps it more secure.
It’s a perfect “why didn’t they make this stock?” upgrade for any AMS setup.
🧩 Versions Included
You’ll find three versions in this download:
- Simple version – clean, compact, and tool-free.
- Finger-grip version (front) – added tab for easy pulling, oriented for one cable direction.
- Finger-grip version (back) – same design mirrored for the opposite cable angle.
➡️ Make sure to check your cable’s orientation before printing so the grip faces the right way.
All versions share the same snug fit — press it firmly in place, and it stays put.

✔ PETG recommended – for flexibility and a durable snap-fit
✔ 0.2 mm layer height
✔ 3–4 walls for a solid press-fit feel
✔ Prints flat on the bed
🧠 Notes
Fits standard Bambu Lab AMS 6-pin connectors.
Tolerance tuned for PETG.
Just press it on, but might feel tight - as soon as its of the plate! Ive noticed its a lot harder when it has had time to cool down!
🧺 Why I Made This
After swapping AMS units one too many times, I wanted a faster way to unplug that stubborn 6-pin cable — without fighting it every time.
This small add-on does exactly that: a quick-release cover that feels right and just works.
