3D microphotography project, NaCl
Print Profile(1)

Description
Born from the fusion of focal planes of crystal sharpness, these reliefs make the microscopic texture of matter palpable.
Crystals of pure products are prepared by dilution, heating, desiccation, etc.
To obtain a usable relief image, due to the shallow depth of field
of the microscope, it is necessary to composite multiple photos.
Images are taken with a polarizing microscope or grazing light to emphasize volumes.
The size of the images varies between 0.1 and 1 mm from left to right.
