A fun realistic mini M1911 fidget!

has no firing function or loading, but is very fun! Has a magnetic mag for extra fun! While it has no firing function, it is still a fun thing to just play around with. It is missing some detail which i am aware of, including the ejection, i will add more features/detail in future updates/versions.

This model also makes use of one of the screws that comes with the p1s. it is just for the shipping bracket so this is a way to clean them up!

Assembly Video:

Parts needed:

1x 0.5x5x25 mm Compression Spring (or a pen spring as long as it fits)

2x 4x2 neodymium magnets

1x  P1S half-thread shipping screw (theres only one kind that it ships with) OR you can use another machine screw that is around 25mm long with 5.50mm diameter head. it should be 2.40/.50 in thickness as well. Please do not rate poorly if you use a different screw as i have not made it specifically for them. Non half-thread screws should also work because of the way i made it.

All parts exept the screw included in the makers beginner kit!

Pre-Assembly:

  1. the printer will pause at a certain layer to insert the first magnet
  2. glue in the mag magnet making sure it attracts to the one in the gun (you can drop the magnet into the mag slot, put glue in the mag and slide it in)

Assembly:

  1. glue on the grips (they only go on one way)

  2. put the spring in the slide as shown

  3. without the spring falling out of the hole, slide the slide onto the main body

  4. keeping tension on the spring, drop the screw down the front of the slide as pictured

  5. keeping tension still, tighten until the back of the slide aligns with the back of the main gun

  6. glue on the “barrel” (im aware it is not bound to the slide on the real thing)

  7. insert mag
  8. done!
