Swiffer PVC Pole Adapter

We wanted a way to reach into tall corners and especially skylights with a swiffer duster, so I made this little model that allows you to attach a swiffer wand to a piece of ½" schedule 40 PVC pipe.

Just print it, and get yourself either a #8-32x1-¼" screw or maybe an M4-0.7x30 screw and corresponding nut. Put the two pieces together and screw the 3D printed “nut” onto the threaded part. Choose the angle you want (you can change it later). Then slip the device over a piece of ½" PVC pipe and to help you line up the hole to drill through the pipe. I used a 3/16" bit, but an 4.5mm or 5mm screw will work if you need to. Finally, install the your screw and nut and push the swiffer wand into the other end. Install a swiffer duster and have fun. :)
