Description

This accessory was designed to make the Playseat Challenge chair easier to move and more stable when folded.
After several tests, it has proven to be a solid and reliable upgrade for your setup.

🧱 Material Recommendation

For best results, print with PETG or another strong and slightly flexible filament.
The model is durable enough for everyday use and can even roll smoothly on carpeted floors.

⚙️ Additional Functionality

The accessory can also serve as a small electronics holder — ideal for storing power supplies, USB hubs, or similar components.

It is recommended to use it together with this lock system, which automatically centers and secures the pedal mount — so you don’t have to realign it every time.

🔩 Hardware Required

You will need the following parts, available at any hardware store, Amazon, or screw supplier:

  • 6 × M5 Socket head screw, 10 mm long
  • 6 × M5 nuts
  • 4 × M6 Socket head screw, 25 mm long
  • 4 × M6 nuts
  • 2 × Fix Bearing Castor Wheel

    • Mounting surface: 46 × 20 mm
    • Hole spacing: 35 mm
    • Wheel Size: 30 mm

🛠️ Notes

  • Assembly is straightforward and beginner-friendly.
  • The design ensures smooth rolling movement and secure positioning when folded.
  • All dimensions are optimized for the Playseat Challenge, Gen 1.

Download it, print it, and put it to good use! 😊

Assembly was pretty straightforward, but had trouble finding specific casters with ball bearings. I used the PATIKIL 1.3in fixed casters from Amazon and they worked fine. Much less hassle transporting this seat around now. Thank you!

You solved it perfectly! It looks really great. I can see that you also printed the recommended pedal mounts for it. That was a very good decision — they add a lot of stability, allowing about 1 cm of movement while always keeping it centered. Thank you for the feedback. :)

Please let me know about your experience after printing — how the assembly went, how tight the nuts and bolts were, and how flexible the part remained. Also, could the tube still snap properly into place? :)
