Vespa service sign

I’ve created a 3D replica of the legendary “Vespa Service” sign, an iconic object that was provided to authorized Piaggio Vespa dealerships from the 1950s to the 1990s. Over time, the sign underwent several updates, with changes to the font and logo, and it was produced in various languages to meet the needs of Piaggio dealerships worldwide. Due to its rarity, it has become a highly sought-after collector’s item for Vespa enthusiasts.

In my project, I aimed to reproduce this sign in 3D, maintaining a very similar design to the original, but in reduced dimensions to make it more accessible and easy to display. The sign has a 32 mm thickness and a 234 mm diameter, and it is designed to be easily hung on the wall with a hole on the back and 4 small screws that allow it to be opened. Additionally, for those who want a glowing effect, a LED strip can be added to light up the object and make it even more appealing.

This vintage sign is perfect for anyone looking for a retro accessory for their garage, vintage workshop, or for hobbyists and Vespa fans. It’s also a great gift idea for Vespa lovers and a perfect way to add a unique and original touch to any space.

Ho creato una replica in 3D della leggendaria tabella "Vespa Service", un oggetto iconico che era in dotazione nelle officine autorizzate Piaggio Vespa dagli anni '50 agli anni '90. Questa tabella ha subito numerosi aggiornamenti nel tempo, con il cambiamento di font e logo, ed è stata prodotta in diverse lingue per soddisfare le necessità delle officine Piaggio sparse in tutto il mondo. A causa della sua rarità, è diventata un oggetto da collezione molto ricercato dagli appassionati di Vespa.

Nel mio progetto, ho voluto riprodurre questa tabella in formato 3D, mantenendo un design molto simile all'originale, ma in dimensioni ridotte per renderla più accessibile e facilmente esponibile. La tabella ha uno spessore di 32 mm e un diametro di 234 mm, ed è stata progettata per essere facilmente appesa al muro grazie al foro sul retro e alle 4 piccole viti che permettono di aprirla. Inoltre, per chi desidera un effetto luminoso, è possibile aggiungere una strip LED per illuminare l'oggetto e renderlo ancora più accattivante.

Questa tabella vintage è ideale per chi cerca un accessorio retrò per il proprio garage, officina vintage, o per chi è un hobbista e appassionato di Vespa. È anche un'ottima idea regalo per gli amanti delle Vespa, ed è perfetta per dare un tocco unico e originale a qualsiasi ambiente.
