Description
Customizable vent & blank panels for 10 Inch Rack V6
V6: Added 1/3U and 2/3U sizes, plus a “disable decimal u vertical offset” option to remove the automatic offset applied to non‑integer U sizes.
Today I present to you your new one-stop-shop (assuming it's your only shop) for rack-mounted blank covers.
We've got:
- 0.5U, 1U, 2U … all the way up to 10U — ALL the "U"s you've ever wanted
- A variety of aesthetic patterns to stylishly hide your problems away
- Actually useful patterns like Passthrough, IKEA SKÅDIS

You can use the generator or use one of the many print profiles that include all types of patterns in 0.5U, 1U, 2U, 3U, 4U, and 5U sizes.
Supported Sizes
From 0.5U to 10U in 0.5U increments (for example you can make 1/2U, 2U, 3.5U, 5U, etc.)
1/3U and 2/3U options.
Sizes larger than 5U may not fit your printer, print responsibly.
Supported Patterns
There are many types of patterns available, some more useful than others. Now at your fingertips thanks to the power of tables:

Other settings
Add back wall: Adds a 1mm wall to the back of the pattern. (Not supported for SKÅDIS and solid wall patterns, for obvious reasons.) | On  | Off (default)  |
Half height holes: Adds half height holes to the panel. | On (default)  | Off  |
Disable last u half height hole: When creating panels with non-integer sizes (e.g. 0.5U, 1.5U, 2.5U), the half-height hole ends up on the edge. This option (enabled by default) removes that last edge hole. | On (default)  | Off  |
Disable decimal u vertical offset: Turns off the automatic vertical hole offset normally applied to non‑integer U sizes. With this disabled, you can center‑align panels to the half‑height mounting holes in your rack.
This is handy for layouts like 3 × 1/3U in a single U, where only the center panel should have this option enabled.
Warning: Using this with sizes larger than 1U, or when you’re not mounting to the half‑height hole, will throw off your rack alignment. |
